Cutting Payroll Tax for WA Businesses
After nearly a decade of WA Labor, payroll tax collectionshave almost doubled, from $3.3 billion to a record $6.2 billion.
Payroll tax is a tax on jobs, and it makes growing a business more expensive. A Zempilas Liberal Government will lift the payroll tax-free threshold from $1 million to $1.5 million, delivering permanent relief to around 14,500 WA employers and removing about 3,500 from payroll tax altogether.
