Lake Galup trishaws bringing joy

It was a great start the day at Lake Galup this morning as we joined Cycling Without Age for a catch-up with volunteers and local riders.

The passionate team behind the program provides free trishaw rides for older people and those with limited mobility, helping them stay connected to the outdoors, their community, and each other. It was wonderful to see the genuine joy the riders experienced on the front of their trishaw as they circled the lake.

Cycling Without Age is a great example of community spirit in action — bringing people together, reducing social isolation, and reminding us of how important inclusive community programs are in supporting wellbeing and connection.
