Scarborough Sharks cricket a busy club

With Perth abuzz in cricket fever, it was an apt time to tour the Scarborough Sharks Cricket Club with Club Secretary Joel Norman and Past President Roger Smith.

Formed in 1989 through the merger of Doubleview and Lake Monger Cricket Clubs, the Sharks have created a strong and united cricket community in Perth’s western suburbs and competed across several evolving metro competitions. Now playing in the Perth Swan Cricket Association, they have collected a total of 26 premierships along the way.

Today, the club fields three hard-wicket teams from October to March, welcoming players of all abilities in a friendly, community-focused environment.

Thanks for having us visit today Sharks, and we look forward to popping in to see a Satruday game soon.
