Basil tours new SES Stirling Headquarters

Basil visited the new State Emergency Service (SES) Stirling Unit headquarters today, getting a firsthand look at the facilities and operations that keep the local community safe.

Basil was impressed by the standard of the new HQ and the professionalism of the operation running out of it, and took the opportunity to thank the SES volunteers who give their time to respond when the community needs them most.

"We are so fortunate to have this world-class community service here," Basil said.

The SES Stirling Unit is made up of dedicated volunteers who respond to storms, floods, road crash rescues and other emergencies across the region, often at short notice and in difficult conditions.

Basil thanked the volunteers for their ongoing commitment and congratulated them on their new base of operations.
