Our dedicated CrossSafe page is live

School crossings in the Churchlands electorate have a safety problem and too many families are feeling it firsthand. Children are being clipped by cars, wardens are leaving and not being replaced, and parents are telling us they no longer feel safe letting their kids walk or ride to school. That's not good enough, and it's why Basil launched CrossSafe.

CrossSafe is a community campaign to fix school crossing safety across Churchlands and to push the State Government to act. A survey of local residents found 70% believe their school crossings are unsafe, 73% want the warden shortage fixed, and 85% have witnessed dangerous driving near a school. These aren't isolated concerns. They are widespread, and they demand a response.

This page is your hub for everything CrossSafe; survey results, media coverage, what Basil is doing in Parliament, and how you can get involved. If you have a story to share or a crossing in our community that needs attention, I want to hear from you. Every crossing counts, and every voice helps.
