Visit your GP for a flu vaccine

Flu season is approaching and the number of people getting sick is already rising across Australia. Annual flu vaccination remains the best way to protect yourself, reduce your risk of serious illness, and help protect vulnerable people in our community.
GPs provide flu vaccination as part of comprehensive, whole-of-patient care. They understand your medical history and can provide personalised advice about the right vaccine for you and your family.
Getting vaccinated also helps reduce pressure on hospitals during winter. If you haven’t had your flu vaccine yet, now is a good time to book an appointment with your local GP practice.
