Throwing support to the Churchlands SHS Music Tour

Basil tried his hand at conducting today when he met some of the 130+ strong Churchlands Senior High School music group heading to Europe in 2026, throwing his support behind their fundraising efforts.

Heading to Austria, Germany and Hungary, the talented musicians have the opportunity to play in their multiple ensemble groups to audiences big and small, and discover for themselves a little music history and culture.

The 136 students are about to start their considerable fundraising effort for their tour, to include a great raffle, silent auction items and a massive quiz night on 2 May.  Watch this space to see how you can help these talented students jet away and learn more about their instruments and their craft from some of the original homes of classical music.
