Coffee with Baz at Mellow Coffee, Wembley

Our recent Coffee with Baz at Mellow Coffee in Wembley offered a relaxed and thoughtful morning of conversation with around 30 local residents joining Basil to share their views and ideas over a cuppa.

Basil spoke openly about both local and State issues, providing an update on priorities across the Churchlands electorate and within the broader Liberal team. The discussion was engaging and wide-ranging, with participants raising a number of important topics — most notably housing affordability and availability, and the future direction of the Liberal Party.

There was strong interest in hearing how the Party is working to rebuild trust, attract new members, and put forward constructive solutions to challenges facing Western Australians. Basil welcomed the feedback and shared his reflections on the importance of listening and reconnecting with the community as part of that process.

As always, these sessions are about more than just policy —they’re about people. Conversations like these help shape the priorities Basil takes back to Parliament and ensure local voices continue to be heard.
