ANZAC Vigil by 714 Squadron, Australian Air Force Cadets (based at Karrakatta)

ANZAC TRADITION 🌺

What an honour to call past the West Leederville Memorial Garden and meet the 714 Australian Airforce Squadron Cadets.

In a beautiful and meaningful pre-ANZAC Day tradition, the cadets (based at Karrakatta) stand guard in a 12 hour vigil in 40 minute shifts at the War Memorial until the Dawn Service.

It was wonderful to meet the Cadets who all live in the local area and to thank them for their commitment and dedication and for their role in honouring the ANZACS.
